Royal Commission into Family Violence: A survivor’s plea for end to dowry abuse

It has been a long battle for ACHRH, but one that has seen a positive response from the Victorian Government. In a report submitted by ACHRH, the Royal Commission and theAustralasian Centre for Human Rights and Healthrecommended the government amend theFamily Violence Protection Act, to include dowries as a form of “economic abuse”.
